Everest Legacy Fund Foundation

A Fund Rooted in Love and Legacy

Created in memory of an incredible young man, Everest Conboy, this fund carries forward his spirit through support, connection, and care for families facing hardship. Every initiative is grounded in the love he gave so freely and in the families belief that even in grief, we can grow something beautiful.

Building Stronger Families & Communities

Our Foundation's Purpose

1. Provide emotional and financial support to children and families facing adversity, with a special focus on parents grieving the death of a child.

2. Expand access to grief counselling and trauma-informed care, especially for low-income and underserved communities.

3. Remove financial barriers to sports, recreation, community arts and movement-based programs for children experiencing grief, trauma, or economic hardship.

4. Promote public understanding of childhood loss, parental grief, and the impact of socioeconomic inequality through education, storytelling, and community outreach.

5. Partner with programs that foster resilience, belonging, and healing in honor of Everest’s legacy.

Why Is This Important To Us?

The loss of Everest was a devastation beyond words, an unthinkable rupture in the life of a family that cherished him deeply. For his mother, a trauma therapist of over a decade, it was a surreal and shattering experience: to face the kind of grief she had spent her life helping others navigate. And yet, even amidst the heartbreak, she had a quiet knowing, that her extraordinary boy’s life would not end here. His spirit and legacy would continue to help many children and families.

Everest had an old soul. He loved with depth, gave freely, and carried a rare light that touched everyone around him. This fund was born from a promise: that his life would be remembered not only in sorrow, but in service and support to others. That the essence of who he was—his kindness, his wisdom, his boundless heart—would live on by reaching others.

This is important to us because it transforms grief into purpose. It carries Everest’s spirit forward, offering love, resources, and healing to families who need it most. His legacy will go the distance, and he will be extremely proud.
